My heart goes to all Filipinos. I find that they are the most beautiful
and gorgeous people that nature has created. But with that beautiful
facade and a country that I wish that I am born in, nature itself has
not been too forgiving.As one nurture with the forces of its
surroundings, and molded with the hands of their parents and peers,
the final product is evident in every Filipino's dream. And this is the
key to a good and fulfilling life...is to dream. But the same dream is in synchronization with almost every Filipino.
When I ask a Filipino " What is your dream?" And almost all( 90%)
of this beautiful people cites "I want simple life." Hmm! 'A Simple
Life?' With wonder and twinkle in their eyes, with almost every
breathe and spirit and soul pour out like a sea of champaign over-
flowing with ' I Want A Simple Life!' And I tell them, "You are
unemployed, broke, you have 2 kids to support and without a roof
at the top of head. I can't think of a more simpler life than that.
Your dreams has already been answered. You have your Simple
Life. Now, what else do you want?' And they will look at me in
disbelieved.
